The translation of the bull of approval for the Capuchin reform into modern languages
Pope Clement VII on July 3, 1528, with the bull “Religionis zelus”, formally approved the Capuchin reform.
We are steadily approaching the 500th anniversary of the founding of our Order. In preparation for this extraordinary jubilee, on the website of the General Curia, we have published the papal bull in its original version in Latin, and its translation into modern languages. The bull is now available in Latin, Italian, English, Polish, Spanish, German, French and Portuguese.
