New translations available
In the jubilee year of 2025, the new “Handbook of the General Procura of the Capuchin Friars Minor” was officially published in Italian. The document, the previous edition of which was published in 2006, is intended primarily for Major Superiors, Provincial Secretaries, and other brothers of the Order who are required to draw up legal documents or assist with certain procedures.
This book is intended to serve as a simple resource and a practical guide where essential information and procedures in this field are organized to facilitate reference and required action. It is also intended to serve as a tool for learning.
New translations available
It is our hope that every friar of the Order will find this handbook useful for carrying out such needs and services within his own circumscription. Thanks to the work of several friars who served as translators, versions in Spanish, English, and Portuguese are now available: we extend our gratitude to them, as well as, of course, to the General Procurator and the other friars who prepared the text.
Finally, the General Procurator’s Office reminds all brothers and sisters that it is always available to offer assistance, provide any necessary clarifications, and is open to reports of errors or concepts that have not been expressed clearly enough.
