A Testimony of Mission and Service
On September 3, 2026, the Lord of Life called our brother Crispino Valeri, of the Province of Central Italy, to his eternal home.
Born in Raiano, Aquila on January 31, 1934, he spent his life living out the Capuchin charism for over forty years as a missionary in Zambia. He also served the Order in the United States and in Rome, where, at the General Curia, he served as porter with dedication and commitment from 2001 to 2010.
Upon his return to the province, he continued his ministry as a brother attentive to the needs of the people, living in the fraternity in Manoppello, near the Shrine of the Holy Face, until he was admitted to the infirmary in Pescara, where he awaited, with a spirit of constant prayer, his encounter with the “gentle and joyful Face of the Savior.”
