N. 3177)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Helder Pessoa C\u00e2mara nasce a Fortaleza (Brasile) il 7 febbraio 1909, undicesimo di tredici figli. Il padre, Jo\u00e3o Eduardo Torres C\u00e2mara Filho, libraio, decise di battezzarlo con questo nome scoprendo che si trattava di un piccolo porto nel Nord dell\u2019Olanda, La madre, Adelaide Pessoa C\u00e2mara, era insegnante di scuola elementare. Ordinato sacerdote il 15 agosto 1931 a Rio de Janeiro, nel 1932 ader\u00ec all\u2019Azione integralista brasiliana, un movimento politico che, nonostante il suo pensiero vicino a quello sociale-cristiano, nelle manifestazioni esterne riprendeva simboli ed emblemi del fascismo italiano. Nominato vescovo ausiliare di Rio de Janeiro il 3 marzo 1952. Fonda la Banca della Provvidenza di San Sebastiano, che assisteva i poveri e gli emarginati. Sempre a Rio, organizz\u00f2 il XXXVI Congresso Eucaristico Internazionale e la Conferenza Nazionale dei Vescovi Brasiliani (CNBB), della quale fu attivissimo segretario. Partecip\u00f2 al Concilio Vaticano II. Fu anche fra i fautori di quella che sarebbe stata poi chiamata \u201cl\u2019opzione preferenziale per i poveri\u201d. Il 12 marzo 1964 Papa Paolo Vi lo nomina arcivescovo di Olinda-Recife. A causa del suo impegno sociale e della denuncia delle torture della polizia, viene minacciato e osteggiato durante la dittatura militare brasiliana. Al compimento del 75\u00b0 anno di et\u00e0, il 2 aprile 1985. Muore a Recife il 27 agosto 1999.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u2019Inchiesta diocesana si \u00e8 svolta a Refice dal 3 maggio 2015 al 19 dicembre 2019. Il 5 settembre sono stati presentati alla Congregazione delle Cause dei Santi gli Atti dell\u2019Inchiesta.
