53 Formators from all the Four families namely Ofm Conventuals, Friars Minor, Capuchins and TOR, have come together to prepare themselves to discern and to tune themselves to be effective formators.

It is helping them to know each other and experience the Franciscan Brotherhood. The three families have been living and forming brothers from 1992 onwards jointly attempting to form the student friars in the same campus each having their respective simple dwelling and constant common activities. They come together for Prayer, Mass, social work, cultural activities apart from the studies done together at St. Bonaventure University. So this is a very fitting place to inspire the formators on the value of fraternal joint formation.

This course is designed to have 3 parts each running for two weeks. This year’s First part has inputs on Anthropological, psychological, Franciscan theological and practical dimensions of formation. Every morning we had two inputs and in the afternoon group discussions based on the talks had and formators had the possibility to share their formative experiences and suggest ways to have integral spiritual formation.

In the evening along with the Vespers we have inner healing sessions in the presence of the Lord. It helps the formators to make an inner journey personally and heal the past wounds to become healed healers.
