The European Commission began with a virtual meeting on January 16-17, during which the next meeting was planned to be held in Cz\u0119stochowa (Poland) October 11-16, 2021 for all the circumscriptions of Europe. The working group was formed by the General Minister and his Council in October of 2019. It includes: Br. Pio Murat, president; Br. Onofrio Farinola, secretary; Br. Jos\u00e8 Angel Torres, Vicar General; Br. Francesco Neri and Br. Piotr Stasi\u0144ski, General Councilors; Br. Alessandro Ferrari (PR Lombardy, Italy); Br. Ippolito Fortino (PR Calabria, Italy); Br. Eric Bidot (PR France); Br. Cristophorus Goedereis (PR Germany); Br. Carlos Gil (PR Spain); Br. Radek Naur\u00e1til (PR of the Czech Republic); Br. Tomas Wronski (PR Warsaw, Poland).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The work of the Commission is to organize the meeting in Poland, which will be attended by all the provincial and custody ministers, and superiors of the delegations. They will represent the countries of the European Conferences and some of the Middle East, including Greece, Turkey, Lebanon-Syria.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The impetus for the work accomplished over the two-day meeting was the letter from the Minister General of November 22, 2020: A Letter to the Friars of Europe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Actually, the work of the commission had already begun with a questionnaire sent to all the fraternities of the European Circumscriptions, which were returned and are still to be reviewed by the Commission.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Meanwhile, as the Commission directed, a guideline for the celebration of a local chapter on these matters will be sent to all European fraternities by March; and the results, once collected, will be reviewed in light of the meeting in Cz\u0119stochowa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Mediterranean Commission, for its part, also met via Zoom on Saturday, the 23rd.
