{"id":119273,"date":"2026-03-16T13:39:55","date_gmt":"2026-03-16T11:39:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ofmcap.org\/ordinazioni-dei-capitoli-generali-2\/"},"modified":"2026-03-26T18:00:31","modified_gmt":"2026-03-26T16:00:31","slug":"ordinances-of-the-general-chapters-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ofmcap.org\/en\/ordinances-of-the-general-chapters-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Ordinances of the General Chapters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: center;\"><strong>Ordinances approved by the General Chapter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: center;\"><strong>2012 \u2013 2018 \u2013 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The General Chapter, held in Rome from August 20 to September 22, 2012, carefully examined and then ratified the newly revised Constitutions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The same General Chapter, with its legislative authority, also approved the new collection of Ordinances of the General Chapters, stipulating that these Ordinances, following their publication by the General Minister, should be made known and duly observed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Therefore, the General Minister, together with the decree promulgating the renewed Constitutions (Prot. No. 00935\/13), also published the Ordinances of the General Chapters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To make it easier to consult and keep up to date with the current Ordinances, the text now being published includes the amendments, additions, and new Ordinances voted on at the 85th General Chapter (Rome 2018) and the 86th General Chapter (Rome 2024), which became effective at the end of each respective General Chapter and are indicated individually in <strong>bold type<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This text of the Ordinances, written in Italian, is to be considered authentic, and all translations into other languages must conform to it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rome, 09 February 2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Blessed Leopold of Alpandeire<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: right;\">Br.
