On March 5, 2020 at the International College of St. Lawrence of Brindisi in Rome, and in the presence of General Councilor Br. Kilian Ngitir, the appointment of Br. Tedros Abraha was announced as the new editor of the Laurentianum periodical. He will be assisted in this work by Br. Nestor Bernardo Molina Parra (PR Chile) and Br. Wieslaw Block (PR Warsaw). All three team members are part of the local fraternity of the International College and are also teachers at the Pontifical Universities in Rome.
The event was also an opportunity to thank Br. Salvatore Vacca (PR Messina) for his service as director of the Laurentianum.
The new director, Fra Tedros, teaches in various Roman pontifical universities including the Pontifical Oriental Institute, the Pontifical Urbaniana University, the Pontifical Antonianum University. He is a consultor for the Congregation for the Oriental Churches and a member of the Accademia Ambrosiana (Milan).
