To All the Friars

Dear Brothers,

            I am reaching out to inform you that once again the General Secretariat for Formation is offering an online ongoing formation course that will take place on certain days in the coming months, as per the detailed schedule attached to this letter.

            Considering the undoubtedly positive experience of last year, we wanted to offer again to the Order, and to any interested Franciscans, a formation course that would help everyone to deepen their understanding of the values we desire to live and to actualize them as best we can in this world in which everyone breathes the same air and which is in continuous and rapid evolution.

            The course is quite dynamic, but very rich, developing a variety of themes, starting with the Canticle of the Creatures. Everyone can easily participate (it is only a few hours per month on the set days, on Saturdays). Participants will have the ability to choose, according to their own interests and as time permits, the topics they find most useful for them. If you are interested in taking part, the organizers will provide you with straightforward and pertinent directions.

I ask, then, that the Ministers and Custodes, and any others who are responsible, to let the friars know about this initiative and to urge effective participation, as an offering for ongoing formation and an opportunity for personal and fraternal growth.

            Grateful to the brothers who generously engage in preparing and offering these initiatives, I hope that many will take advantage of them and that the fruits will be abundant.
