As announced during the LXXXVI General Chapter, the Formation Course 2024 for archivists, librarians, and museum workers will be held from November 4 to 9 in Rome at the St. Lawrence of Brindisi International College.

The theme chosen for the week of work is Documenting the Past, Accompanying the Present, Supporting the Future. An evolving area of service.

The initiative is part of the animating initiative carried out by the Capuchin Central Library and the Capuchin General Archives with the collaboration of the Franciscan Museum for the protection, preservation, management and enhancement of the Order's cultural heritage.

The Formation Course, with translation into the most common languages according to the needs of the participants, will emphasize the Order's own way of producing, preserving, collecting and valuing the corpus of testimonies represented by the Capuchin cultural heritage, so that what belongs to history, and also what belongs to the present, may organically constitute the memory of tomorrow.
