From Oct. 13-15, the National Council of Post-Novitiate and Student Representatives met at the friary in Viterbo, which is the location of the post-novitiate in Central Italy. Present were friars from Italy, France, Slovakia, Croatia, Belarus and Cape Verde, all in formation in Italy. Br. Armando Nardecchia was with them for the Secretariat of Formation. In the meetings they reflected on the younger portion of the Capuchin family throughout Europe in view of the Fraternal Convocation of 2025 and they began to think about some initiatives for sharing and building communion. In November, for example, the European Yearbook will be presented in its second edition, born from the work of communications among the young European friars who exchanged photos and information useful for the accomplishment of this work. The days in Viterbo included a visit to the historic city of the popes, with a well-appreciated stop at the Museum of St. Rose of Viterbo. The Council expresses its gratitude to the Viterbo fraternity for the generous and fraternal welcome and plans to meet again before the Easter holidays, continuing to cultivate the joyful relationships between all those brothers gifted to us by the Lord.
