| The
General Postulator and his collaborators in the Curia handle
the Causes of Canonization with the Holy See. They are appointed
by the General Minister and approved by the Congregation of
the Causes of the Saints. The Statutes of the General Curia
describe their function.
The Causes that are of special interest to the Church and
the Order are introduced to the Holy See with the consent
of the General Minister and his Definitory. These Causes have
a significant message for contemporary society.
