| T he
Office of the General Bursar is charged with overseeing the
economic resources of the General Curia and its dependent
departments, and to ensure that accounts are kept in accordance
with the norms of the Church, the Order and the Italian State.
By means of an annual budget presented by each department
and approved by the General Minister and his Definitory, the
Bursar makes available the amount of money needed to meet
the needs of the General Curia.
The Bursar’s Office facilitates and assists with economic
help between the various jurisdictions of the Order and provides
funds for the Order’s international solidarity projects.
