Conferences

In each of the great regions of the world, the provinces are grouped into conferences. This regional structure, made according to the language, the culture and other social factors, renders the collaboration easier in areas of common interests.

“The conferences, comprising of the provincial ministers, the viceprovincials, and the regular superiors of a region and of a territory, are established by the general minister with the consent of his definitory. The scope of the conferences is to promote the collaboration between the provinces, viceprovinces and the custodies with the episcopal conferences and the conferences of the major superiors, dealing with various issues. The conferences thus enable more uniformity in government whenever this is possible" (Constitutions 131,1)
