BICI
- an acronym for "Bulletin d'informations Capucines
internationales" - was first published in 1970, under
the auspices of then-general minister, Br. Paschal Rywalski.
The bulletin was first edited in French and then translated
into various languages. In the year 2000, BICI underwent
a major facelift, moving to a full-color, 3-edition bilingual
format (English/Spanish; French/Portuguese; Italian/Polish).
Since that time, the publication of BICI in German, previously
published as IKI by the KDP, has been assumed by the general
curia, and Indonesian has been added. BICI is a less formal
tool of communication containing relatively short articles
and color photographs of news of general interest to the
Order. Its purpose is to affirm the brothers and sisters
of the Order and their works and initiatives. BICI is published
six times a year.
